Software Consultant, Backend

About the Role

ParentPay Group is seeking an experienced Senior Software Consultant to join a new team developing a single authentication solution for all products within the group. This role emphasizes building products with exceptional customer experience, operating under a DevSecOps culture using eXtreme Programming techniques, and focusing on quality, security, and delivery. The team will also be involved in live service operations and third-line support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of the domain and technical intricacies of the product.
• Consistently evaluate and become the expert in the domain space.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to understand Acceptance Criteria thoroughly.
• Build robust UI/UX solutions using .NET, C#, Microservices, HTML, CSS.
• Work on Azure B2C implementation.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of architectural principles.
• Understand OAuth API call sequences.
• Adhere to strong Agile Development Practices.
• Ability to work in a technical environment.
• Experience with Whitebox testing techniques.
• Demonstrate clarity of thought and the ability to translate complex concepts into simple terms.
• Contribute towards creating test scenarios, manual testing, automating scenarios, and benchmarking performance.
• Work on the product backlog and aid in delivery acceleration.
