Content Writer Trainee (Media agency background)

About the Role

The Content Writer Trainee will support the creation of clear, engaging, and brand-aligned written content for influencer campaigns, social media, websites, and marketing materials. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, working closely with the agency’s creative and account teams to deliver consistent, high-quality content.

Key Responsibilities

• Write social media content, captions, ad copies, blogs, articles, scripts, and campaign concepts.
• Develop creative content ideas for influencer marketing campaigns and brand collaborations.
• Write YouTube scripts, reels scripts, video concepts, and branded content.
• Research brands, audiences, trends, and industry topics to create relevant content.
• Work closely with the creative, influencer marketing, strategy, and production teams.
• Adapt content according to different brand tones, platforms, and target audiences.
• Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and strong grammar.
• Maintain content calendars and contribute ideas to enhance campaign storytelling and engagement.
• Stay updated with social media trends, pop culture, digital content formats, and emerging trends.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in content writing, digital media, advertising, or a creative/marketing agency.
• Prior agency experience is a plus.
• Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and storytelling.
• Ability to write both creative and informative content.
• Understanding of social media platforms and digital content.
• Good research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work within deadlines.
