Coffee Roaster

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Coffee Roaster role based in Gurugram.

Key Responsibilities

• Roast specialty coffee to defined profiles.
• Operate roasting equipment safely.
• Maintain roasting schedules to meet production needs.
• Monitor roast quality.
• Record roast data.
• Adjust roast profiles.
• Collaborate with the quality team to ensure consistency across batches.
• Cup and evaluate coffee.
• Manage green coffee inventory.
• Support the development of new products and flavor profiles.
• Work closely with barista and training teams to share product knowledge and support coffee education.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Prior experience in a specialty coffee roastery or production environment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in a physically active role, including lifting coffee bags and operating machinery safely.
• Basic proficiency in data recording and use of roasting software.
• Familiarity with safety and food-handling standards.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Coffee Roasting and Specialty Coffee, including understanding roast profiles and flavor development.
• Skills in Quality Control, including cupping, sensory evaluation, and maintaining consistency across batches.
• Solid Communication skills to collaborate with production, retail, and training teams.
• Training skills, with the ability to share roasting and product knowledge with internal teams.
