About the Role

The Owner role at Virtusa in Hyderabad is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing strategic initiatives, operational performance, and stakeholder outcomes within a defined business unit or portfolio. The Owner will define vision and objectives, set priorities, and ensure alignment with Virtusa’s AI-native engineering strategy and client commitments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business ownership, product ownership, or portfolio management, with accountability for financial performance, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
• Strong background in technology-driven environments, preferably in AI, digital transformation, or engineering services, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable initiatives.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, including client engagement, contract oversight, and executive-level communication across global teams.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, driving change, and building collaborative, inclusive, and performance-focused work environments.
• Ability to use data and metrics for decision-making, risk assessment, and continuous improvement of processes and outcomes.
• Familiarity with enterprise operations in industries such as financial services, healthcare, insurance, communications, media, retail, or high-tech is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, global organization and adapting.
