About the Role

Skillzenloop is looking for an analytical and enthusiastic Data Science Intern who is interested in exploring datasets, applying statistical techniques, and developing data-driven solutions. The selected candidate will assist with data preparation, exploratory data analysis, model development, and result interpretation while gaining practical exposure to data science methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess datasets for analysis and modelling.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and relationships.
• Use Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib for data analysis.
• Assist in applying statistical methods to understand datasets and business problems.
• Support the development and evaluation of basic machine learning models.
• Prepare visualisations to communicate analytical findings.
• Identify missing values, outliers, and inconsistencies in datasets.
• Assist in selecting relevant features for analytical and modelling tasks.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics under guidance.
• Document experiments, methodologies, and analytical results.
• Collaborate with team members to understand project objectives and data requirements.
• Research relevant data science techniques and contribute to project improvements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of Python programming.
• Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, and data manipulation techniques.
• Understanding of basic statistics and probability.
• Knowledge of data visualisation using Matplotlib or Seaborn is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts is preferred.
• Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook or Google Colab is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of SQL is beneficial.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates pursuing or holding a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field may apply.
• Freshers and entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Candidates with academic projects, data analysis assignments, or personal data science projects are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants should have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.

Internship Details

• Duration: 1–3 Months
• Stipend: ₹15,000–₹16,000 per month
• Employment Type: Full-time Internship
