About the Role
TalentWala Agency is a full-service brand growth company. This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in the Greater Kolkata Area.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished videos for digital campaigns, social media, events, and talent-related content.
- Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and creative briefs.
- Cut and assemble clips, add transitions, effects, and sound.
- Perform basic color correction and grading.
- Collaborate with the creative, talent, and marketing teams to deliver engaging visual stories.
- Create or integrate motion graphics.
- Adapt videos for multiple platforms and formats.
- Manage media assets.
- Maintain organized project files and timelines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for a variety of formats (short-form, long-form, social media, promotional content).
- Skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual consistency, mood, and overall quality.
- Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create or integrate titles, lower-thirds, overlays, and visual elements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
- Strong visual storytelling abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Understanding of pacing, composition, and brand aesthetics.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant experience in agency, media, or digital content environments.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous video work is required.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent practical experience is also valued.
