About the Role
As a Stocker at Dollar Tree, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of your assigned store. Your role includes receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, processing freight safely and efficiently, and merchandising and stocking as needed. You will also be cross-trained to support the cash register and assist customers, ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions. Additionally, you will help maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, trash removal, and general presentation. Other duties may be assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving merchandise
- Unloading trucks
- Processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards
- Assisting with merchandising and stocking
- Supporting the cash register
- Assisting customers
- Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment
- Maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
- Assisting with store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height
- Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills
- High level of integrity
- Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting
