About the Role

Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Software Engineers and Software Engineers for their Space sector in Linthicum, MA, as part of the Pathways rotational program. This program offers three rotation opportunities within engineering. The selected candidates will join Northrop Grumman’s Software Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug application software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
• Conduct multidisciplinary research.
• Collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.

Qualifications

Associate Software Engineer

• Completing or has completed a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Majoring in or having majored in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
• Ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

Software Engineer

• Completing or has completed a Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Majoring in or having majored in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
• Ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

Preferred Qualifications (Both Levels)

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.
