Lab Technician / Lab Assistant

About the Role

JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus is looking for an experienced, competent, and committed individual for the position of Lab Technician / Lab Assistant for the Electrical Engineering Department at its Greater Noida Campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance and upkeep of Electrical Labs (Basic Electrical, Machines, Power System, Control System Labs)
• Assisting faculty members during practical classes and examinations
• Handling, issuing, and maintaining lab equipment, instruments, and components
• Maintaining lab stock register, inventory, and dead stock records
• Ensuring safety, cleanliness, and discipline inside the laboratory
• Assisting in lab audits, calibration, and university inspections
• Reporting any damage or requirement of equipment to HOD / Lab In-charge

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or ITI in Electrician Trade from a recognized institute.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in a college / polytechnic lab is preferred.
• Freshers can also apply.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of electrical machines, wiring, and measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of computer (MS Excel) for maintaining records.
