About the Role
The Content Writer will create well-researched, engaging articles, features, and digital content centered on startups, business, and technology in India.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research.
- Interview founders or industry experts when needed.
- Draft and revise content.
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure alignment with the magazine’s editorial standards and brand voice.
- Optimize web content for readability and audience engagement.
- Brainstorm new story ideas.
- Stay updated on trends in the Indian startup ecosystem.
- Meet publishing deadlines and content quality goals.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Writing and Web Content Writing skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling, and audience-focused content.
- Experience in Content Strategy and Research, including planning editorial topics and gathering credible information from diverse sources.
- Proficiency in Proofreading, with attention to grammar, style, factual accuracy, and consistency.
- Excellent command of English, with strong storytelling abilities and interest in business, technology, and startup ecosystems.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple deadlines.
- Familiarity with digital publishing platforms, SEO basics, and social media content promotion is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
