About the Role
Continental Properties is seeking a Summer 2027 Data Governance Intern for our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. This role offers hands-on experience in data governance, focusing on building and maintaining the data catalog, business glossary, and data quality processes to support new AI tools and drive better company-wide decisions. The intern will report to the Data Governance & Enablement Manager and work in-person.
- Position Specifics: Full-Time during Summer 2027
- Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and upkeep of our data catalog and business glossary, ensuring key data and business terms are clearly documented and accessible.
- Document data lineage and business rules, clarifying data origins and transformations across systems.
- Perform data quality and integrity checks to identify and resolve data issues.
- Assist with projects to ensure data is organized and documented for successful use by AI tools and applications.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Comfort communicating across different teams.
