About the Role

The Information Technology Specialist internship is a remote role focused on supporting core IT operations and infrastructure for internal teams and client-facing environments. This internship offers exposure to enterprise Salesforce-related environments and IBM technologies, with opportunities to learn, collaborate, and contribute to ongoing IT projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with network administration tasks.
• Monitoring system performance.
• Helping maintain secure and reliable connectivity.
• Providing first-level troubleshooting and technical support, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in collaboration with senior IT staff.
• Supporting network security best practices.
• Documenting procedures.
• Delivering responsive, professional customer service to stakeholders.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational skills in Information Technology and basic understanding of enterprise IT environments.
• Ability to support Network Administration tasks and apply Network Security principles.
• Strong Troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Customer Service mindset with clear communication and a focus on timely, courteous support.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms or CRM solutions (Salesforce experience is a plus).
• Comfort working remotely, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate in diverse, global teams and learn new tools and technologies quickly.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree or certification program in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
