Cyber Security Analyst

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Cyber Security Analyst role based in Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor networks and systems for security events.
• Investigate alerts and respond to incidents to minimize risk and impact.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments.
• Support application and network security controls.
• Analyze malware or suspicious activity to strengthen defenses.
• Document findings and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Stay current with emerging threats, tools, and industry trends to proactively improve the organization’s security posture.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Cybersecurity and Analytical Skills
• Network Security Skills (firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, secure network architectures)
• Application Security Skills (secure coding practices, common vulnerabilities, mitigation techniques)
• Malware Analysis Skills
• Experience with SIEM tools, endpoint protection platforms, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to investigate incidents and interpret complex technical data.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as Security+, CEH, or similar are an advantage.
