Store Assistant

About the Role

The Store Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations, including receiving, inspecting, and organizing inventory.
• Maintain accurate stock records.
• Ensure timely issuance of materials to internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with procurement and kitchen or operations teams.
• Monitor stock levels.
• Assist in periodic audits to maintain compliance with organizational standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient storage environment.
• Follow established processes for material handling.
• Provide basic information or support to visitors, vendors, and team members.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong Communication skills to interact clearly and respectfully with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Customer Service and Retail Sales skills to handle requests, support internal “customers,” and manage basic store transactions or material issues.
• Organization Skills to manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and ensure orderly and efficient use of storage space.
• Training-related skills to learn standard operating procedures quickly and help onboard or guide new team members on store processes.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems or MS Office tools, especially spreadsheets, would be beneficial.
• Prior experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, or retail environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, handle moderate physical tasks, and follow safety and hygiene protocols.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
• Vocational certification in storekeeping, logistics, or supply chain is an advantage.
