About the Opportunity

Robotroid Technologies LLP is seeking a Mechanical Design & Automation Engineer for an industrial automation project. This role involves a vibratory bowl feeder, pneumatic mechanisms, and custom machine integration. It offers practical experience in mechanical design, assembly, testing, and customer-site commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD models, mechanical assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Design mounting brackets, fixtures, guide rails, and pneumatic pusher mechanisms.
• Support component selection, BOM preparation, and vendor coordination.
• Assist with mechanical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Visit customer facilities in and around Chennai for installation, testing, and validation.
• Prepare technical documentation and project reports.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.
• Understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with pneumatic cylinders, sensors, and industrial automation components.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work hands-on with Mechanical Tools.
• Ability to travel to customer sites in Chennai when required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical / Mechatronics / Automation Engineering graduates.
