Industrial Designer

About the Role

Nestor Services is the talent acquisition partner for a fast-growing consumer food brand in Gurugram, hiring an Industrial Designer for food products and packaging. You will design products and structural packaging from concept to manufacturing readiness, working closely with an experienced design leader. This role is suited for designers with an entrepreneurial mindset. Fresh graduates may join via a 3-month internship with potential conversion to full-time.

Role Snapshot

• Location: Gurugram (on-site)
• Employment: Full-time, or 3-month internship with conversion to full-time
• Working Days: Monday–Friday on-site; Saturdays flexible / work from home

Key Responsibilities

• Design innovative, user-centric food products and structural packaging.
• Develop unique food product shapes and packaging concepts to enhance consumer experience and brand differentiation.
• Research global food, packaging, and consumer design trends to identify innovation opportunities.
• Create concept sketches, 3D renders, prototypes, and design presentations.
• Collaborate with product development, packaging, creative teams, and suppliers to bring concepts to commercial viability.
• Support design validation by considering manufacturability, supply chain, and cost.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design from a leading design institute.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, product design, CAD modelling, and visualisation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and ownership of your work.
• Academic projects, internships, or hands-on experience in product, packaging, or consumer product design is advantageous.
