About the Role

As an Assistant in Occupational Therapy, you will support Occupational Therapists in the planning and execution of therapeutic measures for patients in various life areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of treatment sessions.
• Accompanying patients during therapy.
• Documenting progress.
• Supporting the organization of rehabilitation and support programs.
• Assisting in the implementation of individual training plans.
• Participating in home visits and measures in the home environment.
• Close collaboration with relatives and other specialists.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy & Rehabilitation: Basic knowledge of occupational therapy and rehabilitation processes, with the ability to safely perform therapeutic exercises and support measures under guidance.
• Patient Care & Support: Competencies in empathetic patient care, including support with daily living, motivating patients, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
• Program and Measure Development: Experience or interest in contributing to the development of structured therapy and support programs, and adapting them to individual needs.
• Home Visits & Home Care: Ability to support occupational therapy measures in the home environment and guide relatives with exercises and daily living adjustments.
• Further Qualifications: A completed relevant education in the health, social, or therapy sector, good communication skills, teamwork, organizational skills, and basic computer literacy are advantageous. Work experience in an occupational therapy or rehabilitation setting is desirable.
