RM planner

About the Role

The RM Planner is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, responsible for planning and coordinating raw material requirements to support production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze demand forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials in alignment with customer orders and manufacturing plans.
• Create and maintain material planning reports.
• Follow up with suppliers.
• Coordinate closely with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
• Update planning systems.
• Review lead times.
• Resolve material shortages.
• Support continuous improvement in planning accuracy and supply chain performance.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and compliance procedures within the plant.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Excel or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in production planning, material requirement planning, and inventory control for manufacturing operations.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, logistics, and production, to ensure material availability.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes, lead time management, and vendor follow-up practices.
• Diploma or degree in engineering, supply chain management, operations, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in planning.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
• Relevant experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing environments is preferred.
