About the Role
The Home Furnishing Associate is a customer-facing retail sales role that reports directly to the General Manager and is part of the Retail Performance team. This role involves guiding customers through creating personalized living spaces and finding the perfect sleep system. It is a 100% commission-based role with uncapped earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting guests and learning their motivation for visiting the retail showroom.
- Developing lasting customer relationships.
- Presenting and discussing home furnishing product options based on client discovery (lifestyle, needs, goals) during sales consultations.
- Utilizing sales and upselling techniques.
- Marketing new sales, special events, and financing options.
- Assisting customers with financing, purchasing, delivery, and achieving satisfaction.
- Increasing personal knowledge of products, sales techniques, and promotions through continuous professional training and development.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Workplace Environment:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an office setting.
- Extended periods of standing may be required.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and/or electronically.
- Ability to use logical reasoning for problem-solving.
- Flexible work schedule (may include nights and weekends).
