About the Role
This full-time, on-site Technical Support Specialist/Process Engineer role involves monitoring and optimizing production processes for beverage packaging and recycling lines, ensuring stable operations, quality standards, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize production processes for beverage packaging and recycling lines.
- Ensure stable operations, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment.
- Support plant operators.
- Implement process control strategies to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Analyze process data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist in designing or modifying process workflows to enhance throughput and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports.
- Support continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Process Engineering and Process Design.
- Ability to develop, review, and optimize manufacturing and recycling processes.
- Skills in Process Control and Analytical Skills.
- Ability to monitor key parameters, interpret data, and implement corrective actions.
- Knowledge in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Understanding of polymer, plastics, or packaging processes.
- Relevant skills in equipment troubleshooting, lean manufacturing or continuous improvement, and basic project management are beneficial.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing, packaging, or recycling environments is an advantage.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- A structured, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
