About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Software Test Engineer role based in Pune City.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, and execute test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Analyze requirements.
- Prepare test data.
- Perform manual and automated test execution.
- Log defects.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in test planning.
- Contribute to test strategy.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Support regression testing.
- Maintain test documentation.
- Provide clear status updates to project stakeholders.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to perform Test Execution and apply core Testing practices effectively.
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with test design and defect management.
- Experience in creating, reviewing, and maintaining detailed Test Cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Understanding of Software Development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with test management tools and bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools or scripting languages is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional, diverse teams.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and follow established quality and security standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
