Business Analyst, ATS INSC

About the Role

The INSC CF MM team at Amazon India is hiring for a Business Analyst position, seeking a candidate with a strong performance record and hands-on experience in data-driven decision-making. The role requires exceptional analytical skills, the ability to break down complex problems into structured, executable plans, and comfort with high ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain robust processes to drive improvement projects with an objective to maximize consumer experience across the MM network.
• Identify, plan, and execute automation projects within the team to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Create and work on data using SQL, Amazon S3, and QuickSight to generate actionable insights for business and operations teams.
• Support business growth in constrained environments through frugal and innovative solutions, ensuring scalability without proportional cost increase.
• Make existing processes scalable by identifying and implementing available tools, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
• Roll out best practices from other geographies and standardize tools and processes to minimize end-to-end supply chain losses.
• Partner with business, operations, and technical stakeholders to translate complex operational challenges into structured, data-backed recommendations.
• Utilize strong problem-solving and communication skills to influence decisions across business, operations, and technical audiences.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficient in Macro and SQL.
• Experienced with BI tools.
• Capable of working with big data from multiple sources.
• Basic understanding of the logistics space.
• Ability to communicate clearly in the written and oral form.
• Ability to come up with process improvements and drive them through completion.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• Experience with Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or a CFA and experience with data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau).
• Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL.
• Knowledge of and proficiency in Excel and SQL.
• Experience with data mining tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similar.
• Preferred: Knowledge of databases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, and ETL Manager.
• Preferred: 2+ years of data analytics or automation experience.
