AI Engineer Intern

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Engineer Intern to build, integrate, and optimize cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence models, LLM agents, and automated AI pipelines across INFINEO's products and internal operations. You will work on designing prompt architectures, implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, building AI agent workflows, integrating vision and audio models, and embedding LLM capabilities into web platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI model pipelines and LLM integrations
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, vector database embeddings, and semantic search
• Develop multi-agent AI workflows, function-calling mechanics, and structured output parsing for product pipelines
• Integrate multimodal AI models (text-to-image, text-to-speech, vision APIs) into automated content and media generators
• Benchmark AI output quality, latency, token costs, and safety guardrails across different LLM providers
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed AI features into live web interfaces and backend services

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong proficiency in Python and fundamental software engineering principles
• Hands-on experience working with Large Language Model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini)
• Solid understanding of prompt engineering, function calling, JSON schema outputs, and embeddings
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to experiment rapidly and evaluate AI output quality objectively
• Curiosity about cutting-edge AI research, open-source models, and developer tools

Good to Have

• Experience with AI frameworks
• Experience with vector databases
• Familiarity with Web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or Node.js) and frontend integrations
• Exposure to fine-tuning, local LLM deployment, or multimodal AI generation pipelines
