About the Role
AXS Solutions and Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is a technology company based in Mumbai, engaged in AI/ML, Fintech, and Healthtech Solutions. This is an internship position for a Software Tester. This is a Work From Office (WFO) role.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Write, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform various types of testing, including:
- Functional Testing
- Integration Testing
- System Testing
- Regression Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Black Box Testing
- White Box Testing
- Conduct manual testing and basic automated testing for web / mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using standard bug tracking tools.
- Perform database testing and validate data integrity.
- Create test data for different users.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and ensure quality delivery.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic understanding of:
- SDLC
- STLC
- Bug Life Cycle
- Knowledge of:
- Manual Testing (Web / Mobile Applications)
- Automated Testing (Web / Mobile Applications)
- Database Testing
- Test Cases Writing and Execution
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as:
- Jira
- Mantis
- Bugzilla
- EXCEL
- Exposure to automation tools such as:
- Selenium
- QTP
- IBM RFT
Qualifications
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Internship certification will be provided.
