Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organization tasks.
• Schedule appointments.
• Manage patient charts.
• Provide information to patients regarding clinic services.
• Convey a positive image of the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training program and/or equivalent experience or EMT license (preferred).
• Fluency in English.
• BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire.
• Office Laboratory Assistant License from the State of Nevada required within 90 days of hire (outside of Cardiology Practices).

Experience

• A minimum of six months of experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care physician practice setting, and/or direct patient care experience (preferred).
