Junior Software Engineer

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Software Engineer role based in Ramanathapuram. The person in this role will assist in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Practical experience or academic exposure to Software Development and Programming using at least one modern programming language (such as Java, C++, Python, or similar).
• Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts, including APIs, databases, and server-side logic.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in designing modular, maintainable code.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, follow technical guidance, and communicate clearly with peers and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software development lifecycle practices is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies, adapt to project needs, and maintain a high standard of quality and ethics.
