About the Role

A full-time, on-site role in Ahmedabad. This role involves testing plastic injection moulding and related machines to ensure performance, accuracy, and safety before dispatch or installation. The engineer will perform on-site commissioning, routine maintenance, and repairs at customer locations, as well as provide field service support, diagnostics, and technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Documenting test results and service reports.
• Coordinating with production, quality, and customer service teams.
• Supporting customers with training on machine operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintaining clear, professional communication in person and over phone or email.
• Performing on-site commissioning, routine maintenance, and repairs at customer locations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for industrial machinery and control systems.
• Hands-on Field Service experience, including onsite installation, commissioning, and customer support.
• Maintenance & Repair skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• Communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and internal teams, and for preparing clear service documentation.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools.
• Ability to follow safety standards.
• Willingness to travel for field service.
• Strong time management.
• Customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field is preferred.
• Experience with injection moulding or similar capital equipment will be an advantage.
