About the Role
TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform department-specific technical, clerical, and support functions.
- Adhere to standards of practice and universal precautions.
- Perform associated laboratory department clerical duties, including moderate computer operations and telephone communications within the scope of technical duties.
- Perform expanded technical and clerical functions.
- Apply critical thinking and decision-making skills to daily functions.
- Perform waived and moderate complexity testing in areas of demonstrated competence and meeting CLIA subpart M testing personnel requirements.
- Promote a supportive environment that encourages collegiality.
- Phlebotomist educated on protocols specific for Neonate/Infant (0-12 months), Pediatrics (1 – 17 years), Adults (18 – 79 years), and the Elderly (80+ years).
