Video Editor & Motion Designer

About the Role

House Of Prama is seeking a Video Editor & Motion Designer to bring their bold, expressive visual identity to life in motion. This role offers the opportunity to experiment, challenge conventions, and shape the brand's evolving visual language.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit approximately 4 short-form videos per week, including reels, promotional content, and brand storytelling.
• Transform raw footage, audio, illustrations, and existing assets into engaging, cohesive videos.
• Utilize pacing, sound design, subtitles, transitions, and motion graphics to strengthen storytelling.
• Create simple animations, kinetic typography, and moving visual elements aligned with House Of Prama's identity.
• Contribute creative ideas for video formats, transitions, and storytelling approaches.
• Incorporate feedback, refine edits, and deliver platform-ready videos within agreed timelines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.
• Working knowledge of motion graphics or animation tools such as After Effects or equivalent software.
• Strong understanding of pacing, sound, typography, composition, and visual flow.
• Familiarity with Instagram reels, short-form video formats, and current content trends.

Qualifications

• A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating short-form video editing and visual storytelling.
• Ability to shape raw footage and creative briefs into compelling, coherent content.
• Attention to detail, independent time management, and openness to feedback.
• Bengaluru-based preferred; remote applicants are welcome.
