Laboratory Technician

About the Role

ARDEX Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a lab assistant to perform quality control tests on its manufactured products for the professional automotive detailing industry. You will utilize sophisticated lab equipment to analyze samples to ensure products meet specifications, working directly with both the batch compounders as well as the chief chemist, and entering that information into the computer for long-term tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze samples in accordance with procedures, communicate findings with staff, and record results.
• Maintain a safe work environment by regularly cleaning the lab.
• Keep inventory for the lab up to date.
• Fill and sample any Raw Materials needed for the lab.
• Lab scale filling and labeling for products/samples.
• Work cooperatively with managers, production technicians/compounders, and other members of the Ardex team.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• A sharp attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable working alone and within a team.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Chemistry, Chem-E, etc) preferred but not required.
• No prior lab experience needed.
