About the Role

Position Title: Stocker - Freezer
Department: Freezer
Supervisor: Freezer Manager
FLSA: Full/Part Time, Hourly, 8-10 Hour Shifts, Union
Key Responsibilities
- Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service.
- Stocks product on shelves by removing boxes from pallets, placing them on shelves, and opening boxes to re-stock single items.
- Organizes and front faces items on shelves.
- Performs proper inspections to meet HACCP regulations.
- Assists in reviewing inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages.
- Ensures shelf pricing is correct and reflects the most recent pricing.
- Maintains warehouse cleanliness through a regular maintenance schedule, including scrubbing and cleaning underneath pallets.
- Continuously reviews department floors for safety hazards.
- Promptly and safely handles spills and removes trash from the floor.
- Works with Hi-Lo operators to ensure the selling floor remains stocked and safe by returning overstock pallets to overhead reserves.
- Informs supervisors of low stock/out of stock merchandise.
Physical Demands
- Walking/standing on concrete up to 10 hours/day.
- Frequently turning, standing, reaching, stooping, and/or bending.
- Frequently pushing/pulling objects 500 to 1,500 lbs.
- Frequently lifting/carrying objects more than 60 lbs.
Work Environment
- Requires frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures.
- Operates in an environment with equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters).
- Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned.
- May be required to work in other departments as needed.
