About the Role

Outsourcing and Subcontracting Buyer at Larsen & Toubro.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Vendor Registration Process.
• Initiate purchasing actions based on requirements.
• Discuss and influence for receiving commercial offers.
• Discuss and negotiate with vendors.
• Prepare purchase orders based on final decisions from OSD lead and QTS.
• Prepare gate pass, picklist for raw material withdrawal from store, and transport request.
• Manage raw material movement for vendors as per PO for manufacturing.
• Develop new vendors for boiler attachment and NPP manufacturing.
• Coordinate with other departments: QC, F&A, Stores, Logistics, Planning, Inventory Control.
• Expedite with vendors for timely delivery.
• Perform Raw Material Accounting/Reconciliation for outsource manufacturing components where raw material is free issue from LMB.
• Ensure GST compliance from vendors.
• Follow up for transportation and timely quality inspection.
• Troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate safety induction training for subcontract labor.
• Manage Vendor Development and Vendor Management.
• Understand and adhere to Customs/Government policies & procedures.
• Demonstrate Flexibility, Resource Management, and Versatility.
• Maintain awareness on Vendor Database.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of MS Office & ERP.
• Knowledge of Material Movement & Transport.
• Knowledge of ASME material specification.
• Good Communication skills.
