About the Role
Bank of America is seeking a Team Leader to join the Global Business Services team. This role is part of the CFO program, focused on identifying and confirming data gaps in financial regulatory reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute assessments to review and validate source documents, data source elements, and logic against specified business and/or data regulatory requirements.
- Review, extract, and document key data elements and logic from SQL or other code, aligning them with key business requirements.
- Examine financial information and data attributes to assess alignment with instructions, ensuring fit for use and/or BRD (Business Requirements Document) validation.
- Assist in issue evaluation and remediation efforts, including identification, remediation, monitoring, and escalation of conformance or transaction-related non-adherence issues and observations.
- Manage relationships across Finance, Data Management, or other line of business support teams.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- SQL code analysis (writing code to match business requirements or validating code execution).
- Advanced tool skills for working with large datasets to identify anomalies.
- Standard knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables, V-lookup.
- Strong communication skills for cross-team partnerships.
Qualifications
- CA/CPA, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance.
- Exposure to US regulatory reports such as FRY-9C, FRY-14Q/M, FFIEC031, FRY-15, FFIEC 009.
- Exposure to EMEA regulatory reports like COREP, FINREP & AnaCredit.
- Prior experience in Audit, Financial Reporting, or Finance Data Management Organizations is desired.
- General comprehension of both GAAP and Regulatory Reporting for large banks is ideal.
Work Timings: 11:30 am to 8:30 pm
