The Video Editor at Veellon is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble raw footage into polished videos.
- Apply transitions and effects.
- Ensure pacing and storytelling align with project objectives.
- Collaborate with producers and creatives to understand project briefs.
- Organize and manage media assets.
- Perform color correction and grading.
- Integrate motion graphics and visual elements as needed.
- Optimize content for different platforms.
- Maintain brand consistency.
- Follow established workflows and deadlines.
- Provide creative input.
- Troubleshoot technical issues.
- Stay current with editing trends and tools to continually improve output quality.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Video production and video editing skills.
- Experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in video color grading and visual refinement.
- Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and graphics.
- Experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Experience with motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Solid understanding of sound design basics, file formats, aspect ratios, and optimization for social media and digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating past work is required.
