Business Analyst, Functional Transformation

About the Role

As a Consultant, Functional Transformation on the Sales & Service team at Deloitte, you will be responsible for facilitating client engagements to enhance customer relationships and drive growth through innovative strategies and transformative technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate interviews, workshops, requirements sessions, and working meetings to elicit, analyze, document, validate, and prioritize business requirements.
• Analyze current-state processes, identify pain points, and translate business needs into process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders, business users, architects, developers, and product owners to support future-state process and solution discussions.
• Investigate business and client issues, clarify root causes, track risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, and action items, and coordinate resolution.
• Support Salesforce-enabled business process and customer relationship management (CRM) solutions by preparing training materials, standard operating procedures, job aids, and user acceptance testing (UAT) materials, and by participating in change-management and Agile delivery activities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of experience performing business analysis tasks, including requirements gathering, process analysis, stakeholder management, data collection, and data analysis.
• 1+ years of experience within the product development lifecycle, including concepting/prototyping, research, design, workflows.
• Ability to travel 0-25%.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Salesforce, performing Salesforce configuration, completing Salesforce training, or holding a Salesforce credential.
• Experience with grant development, evidence review, and manuscript drafting and editing.
• Degree in psychology or completed coursework in psychology.
• Experience supporting federal, state, or local government agencies or public higher education institutions.
• Experience applying foundational Agile concepts, including user stories, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Experience using Anthropic Claude Code.
