About the Role
This position is part of the Regional Training Institute located at Fort Carson Army Base and will be responsible for the cleaning of several facilities. The working hours for this position are Monday - Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The employee may be required to work outside of normal business hours during peak periods. The position is responsible for performing custodial duties, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and disinfecting lavatories, sinks, and drinking fountains
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets
- Collecting and removing trash
- Spot cleaning walls and other surfaces
- Cleaning windows, ledges, and blinds
- Reorder and replace cleaning supplies
- Replenish and restock paper products, soap, and other supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of entrance, exit and common areas
- Assist during snow/weather emergencies by ensuring floors are dry and securing mat placement
- Ensure supplies and materials are stored in a safe and orderly manner
- Report maintenance issues, equipment in need of repair, building or facility damage
- Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Six (6) months of relevant professional custodial experience.
