About the Role
R1 RCM is hiring for the Authcreate Process. Candidates will be responsible for creating prior authorizations on behalf of physicians by reviewing patient medical records and clinical documentation. They will interact with insurance representatives via portals or calls to secure approvals for procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating prior authorizations on behalf of physicians.
- Reviewing patient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Interacting with insurance representatives via portals or calls to secure approvals for procedures.
- Interacting with US health insurance companies (Insurance Customer Care/Nurses/UM Team).
- Securing relevant information of the patient's health insurance.
- Working on Websites/Applications to perform the activity as per the SOP.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience working with Websites/Applications.
- Familiarity with SOPs.
Qualifications
- Medical Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminologies, anatomy, and common procedures.
- Ability to interpret clinical reports, physician notes, and diagnostic results accurately.
- Ability to read clinical documentation and data enter for payer requirements.
- Ability to interact with US health insurance companies.
Work Schedule: Will be working in 6pm to 3 am & 9pm to 6am, supporting US operations (in EST Zone).
