The Role
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing active loads, leveraging high-speed tech tools, and ensuring supply chains run without a hitch. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment and enjoy solving daily logistics puzzles. Full training on the proprietary TMS will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Master the Logistics Lifecycle:
- Efficiently build loads
- Schedule pickup/delivery appointments
- Set up vetted carriers within digital platforms
- Keep Freight Moving:
- Proactively conduct update/check calls with carriers
- Track active shipments
- Deliver real-time, critical updates to shippers and customers
- Carrier Sourcing & Outreach:
- Build strong relationships with carriers by inquiring about lane availability, equipment types, and capacity
- Maintain Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure seamless record-keeping with exceptional attention to detail
- Request and verify insurance certificates
- Handle rate confirmations
- Keep carrier resources updated
- Streamline Operations & Finance:
- Support branch accounting by matching invoices
- Issue Com-checks or Quick Pays
- Leverage digital tools to keep daily office workflows running smoothly
- Deliver 5-Star Service:
- Uphold company principles (Customer, Company, Office)
- Deliver high-touch customer support
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Tech-Savvy & Adaptive: Actively embrace high-speed tech and digital tools.
- Google Suite Proficiency: Strong, practical command of Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar, etc.).
- AI & Tech Familiarity: Exposure to or familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
- Rock-Solid Attention to Detail: Laser-focused accuracy when managing load data, compliance records, and financial documents.
