About the Role
Wander Events (Powered by Wander Voyages Pvt Ltd) is seeking a 3D Designer for a part-time, remote role. The designer will create detailed 3D visualizations and renderings for event layouts, stage designs, installations, and decor concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D visualizations and renderings for event layouts, stage designs, installations, and decor concepts.
- Translate briefs and mood boards into compelling digital models.
- Develop 3D models, texturing, lighting, and rendering scenes.
- Collaborate with event planners and creative leads to refine concepts.
- Prepare design files and presentations for client reviews.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback.
- Ensure feasibility for production.
- Maintain organized project files.
- Participate in virtual meetings.
- Adhere to timelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support multiple event projects simultaneously.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong 3D design skills, including modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., 3ds Max, Blender, SketchUp or similar).
- Event and spatial design skills for creating layouts of stages, venues, installations, and experiential spaces.
- Attention to flow, scale, and functionality.
- Visual communication skills, including developing mood boards, concept sketches, and presentation-ready renders.
- Digital collaboration skills, including working with shared files, remote reviews, and using project management or communication tools.
Qualifications
- Background in 3D design, architecture, event design or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing 3D event or spatial work.
- Creativity.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
