Key Responsibilities
- PCB Design:
- Produce PCB designs and schematics.
- Work closely with layout engineers to fabricate printed circuit boards.
- Work closely with FPGA and firmware engineers to characterize and test full PCB systems.
- System Design:
- Produce electrical system designs.
- Work closely with mechanical engineers to ensure everything meets requirements and is easily serviceable.
- Design includes power distribution, interconnection diagrams, safety interlocks and supporting hardware, computers, data storage, wired or fiber optic networking, and cabling.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; OR
- Bachelor's Level Degree and 2 years related work experience.
- Desired Skills & Familiarity:
- Power supply regulators, isolators, op-amps, ADCs/DACs.
- OrCAD PCB, Altium, PADS, or Eagle.
- ADS, Hyperlynx simulation experience is a plus.
- AC power distribution.
- Programmable logic controllers.
- Cable and fiber optic design.
- Ladder logic.
- Soldering.
- Essential Skills:
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work on cross-disciplinary teams.
