Regional Sales Associate

About the Role

The Sales Associate role's primary function is to introduce new customers to Nilfisk and key dealer partners. You will work with Regional Managers within your geography under the direction of the Regional Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Report a monthly itinerary to the Regional Director.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings with the Regional Director to review:
• Salesforce.com details
• Activities across the customer portfolio
• Customer portfolio
• Pipeline activity
• Report all significant activity in the region to the Regional Director in a timely and accurate manner as it relates to:
• Ongoing product performance
• Competitive intelligence
• Dealer activity
• Attend and participate in required trade shows, seminars, and open houses.
• Participate in NilfiskU.
• Call on assigned prioritized end-users at least once every 90 days.
• Schedule introduction meetings with end-users.
• Engage end-customers to develop relationships and understand their needs.
• Document all activity in Salesforce.com.
• Conduct regular machine demonstrations to qualified prospects.
• Document all demonstration activity in Salesforce.com.
• Manage the dealer database, including existing and competitive customer information (Customer Information List).

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point proficiency.
• Commitment to full utilization of SFDC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 0-2+ years of Sales Experience or internship.
• Exceptional prioritization, time management, and planning ability.
• Strategic agility and comfort with ambiguity.
• Effective and professional communication with internal and external business partners.
• Passion for learning technical, financial/business acumen, and customer needs.
