About the Role
The Omni Sports Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, focused on inspiring customers to discover and enjoy sports.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and guide customers, understand their needs, and provide sport-specific advice on equipment, apparel, and services across multiple sports categories.
- Help maintain product displays and ensure stock availability.
- Contribute to an engaging in-store environment that promotes wellbeing through sport.
- Organize sport workshops or demos.
- Support community events.
- Collaborate with teammates to deliver excellent customer experiences.
- Stay informed about Decathlon products, safety standards, and service policies to provide accurate and confident guidance.
Qualifications
- Skills in Physical Education and Sports Training to support customers with safe, effective participation in various sports.
- Skills in Coaching and Sports Coaching to guide individuals of different ages and skill levels in improving their performance and enjoyment.
- Strong Communication skills to listen actively, explain product features clearly, and create inclusive, welcoming interactions.
- Passion for sports and regular personal practice in at least one sport.
- Ability to work on-site in a retail environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Customer service mindset, with the ability to build rapport, handle queries, and resolve concerns professionally.
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn in-store digital tools and systems.
- Previous experience in sports coaching, fitness, retail, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
