About the Role
- Assist in the operation and setup of CNC grinding machines used in precision tool manufacturing.
- Support production activities to ensure smooth and efficient machine operation.
- Monitor machining operations and maintain product quality.
- Identify machining issues and report machine abnormalities to the supervisor.
- Follow production schedules, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow preventive maintenance practices.
- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to achieve production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and understand engineering drawings and dimensional specifications.
- Perform dimensional inspections using measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic knowledge of CNC machine operation.
- Understanding of mechanical engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of dimensional tolerances and quality inspection.
- Good technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn CNC grinding operations and precision manufacturing processes.
- Attention to detail and a quality-oriented approach.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in CNC grinding, CNC machining, or precision engineering will be preferred.
- Experience in cutting tool manufacturing or precision grinding will be an added advantage.
