About the Role
PLS Engineering is seeking a Civil Engineer (Land Development) to join their team in Vancouver, WA. This role involves contributing to the planning, design, and completion of land development and storm water projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute talents to the planning, design, and completion of a variety of land development and storm water projects.
- Work collaboratively to provide clients with high-quality service.
- Tabulate bid items, calculate construction bid quantities, and develop cost estimates.
- Take personal responsibility for completing quality work within budgets and timelines.
- Adapt easily to changing priorities.
- Network with clients and colleagues to develop and maintain professional relationships.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Civil Engineering degree (four-year) is required.
- 0 - 4+ years of Civil Engineering experience in site development design.
- Knowledge of local (Southwest, WA) codes and agency standards.
- MS Office experience including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Civil 3D familiarity is a plus.
Qualifications
- Washington Civil Engineer’s license or EIT preferred.
- Additional OR license is a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Effective written and oral communication skills, including proposal and report writing.
- Proven ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Responsiveness and flexibility.
