About the Role
MacKay is seeking a dedicated and relationship-driven Civil Engineer to join their Infrastructure & Development team in Raton, NM. This role requires approximately 25% domestic travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide civil design and site layouts, including grading plans, street design and rehabilitation, stormwater management, and piping and pumping systems.
- Participate in large multi-disciplinary team projects.
- Prepare drawings and specifications.
- Be responsible for the delivery of work products to clients.
- Oversee construction projects as Client representative.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- F.E. required
- Ability to obtain P.E. within 4 years of college graduation.
- 0-4 years of relevant experience in public works and civil design.
Technical Skills And Abilities
- Engineering design, including grading, drainage, and site layout for municipal infrastructure projects.
- Construction management and oversight.
- Cost estimating.
- Preparation of procurement and construction specifications.
- Scheduling and subcontractor management.
- Data analysis, problem-solving, and cost estimating.

- US Pay Range: $38 USD - $45 USD
