About the Role
As a Data Analyst at Booz Allen, you will support a mission by transforming complex structured and unstructured data sets into useful information to solve challenges. You will work client-facing, understanding their questions and needs, then analyzing their data to provide insights and advise on how the information can be used to make an impact on DoW acquisition programs and help accomplish project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Work client-facing to understand their questions and needs.
- Dig into data-rich environments to find information.
- Provide a deep understanding of client data.
- Advise clients on what information means and how it can be used.
- Help accomplish project goals within budget.
- Improve IT capabilities for the military.
- Drive large-scale business and process decisions through data insights.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis
- Performing research
- Recommending strategies and performance metrics
- Supporting business intelligence
- Data engineering in Databricks or Spark
- Ability to be self-motivated
- Strict attention to detail
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice to Have
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Matplotlib, and Seaborn
- Experience building or maintaining data pipelines
- Knowledge of data science skillsets, including Pandas, Polars, Scikit-learn, Pytorch, Tensorflow, and R
- Knowledge of AI engineering
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Databricks or Power BI Certification
Compensation
- Projected compensation range: $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD)
