About the Role
Laneway is a next-generation business management consulting company. This is a remote internship role for an AI Engineer Intern.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and testing of AI models and prototypes.
- Focus on practical applications across consulting, technology services, and media.
- Explore datasets.
- Implement pattern recognition algorithms.
- Experiment with neural network architectures.
- Build small software components that integrate AI capabilities into products.
- Assist in NLP-focused experiments, such as text analysis or conversational interfaces.
- Document findings, model performance, and implementation details.
- Collaborate with mentors and cross-functional teams to refine solutions, present results, and iterate on proofs of concept.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks.
- Skills in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and related AI techniques.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python.
- Familiarity with common ML/AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development.
- Strong analytical thinking.
- Ability to work with data.
- Willingness to learn new tools and methods.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a remote, distributed team environment.
