About the Role
MarkCos Agency is a marketing and branding agency focused on creating strong brand identities and impactful communication across digital platforms. This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Content Creator role based in Kolkata.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and publish engaging content for various social media platforms, including posts, stories, short videos, and campaigns aligned with client brand guidelines.
- Plan content calendars.
- Brainstorm creative concepts.
- Write captions.
- Coordinate visual assets.
- Collaborate with designers and account managers.
- Monitor social media channels.
- Respond to audience interactions.
- Track performance metrics.
- Adjust content strategies to improve reach and engagement.
- Stay updated on platform trends and best practices.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Social media content creation: writing engaging captions, conceptualizing posts, collaborating on visual storytelling.
- Basic content planning and strategy: building content calendars, aligning social media activity with marketing objectives.
- Digital communication: familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels), understanding of audience engagement techniques.
- Coordination and collaboration: working with designers, account managers, and other team members.
Qualifications
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Attention to detail.
- Creativity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in social media or digital marketing is beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools is beneficial.
