About the Role
The Founder's Office role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai, supporting the founder across strategic, operational, and administrative initiatives. The individual will help drive key projects, prepare research and briefing documents, create presentations, and coordinate cross-functional execution with engineering, business, and partner teams. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an early-stage, deep-tech environment and is eager to contribute to India’s emerging private space ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Track goals and metrics.
- Organize meetings and reviews.
- Draft investor and stakeholder communication.
- Manage follow-ups to ensure timely decision-making.
- Conduct market and technology research.
- Support accelerator and grant applications.
- Assist in building partnerships with academic institutions and industry stakeholders.
- Drive key projects.
- Prepare research and briefing documents.
- Create presentations.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution with engineering, business, and partner teams.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai.
- Adapt quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and research abilities, with experience in market, technology, or competitive analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft presentations, reports, and stakeholder communications.
- Project coordination and organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Comfort with basic business, financial, and operational concepts relevant to startups, including planning, metrics, and documentation.
- High level of ownership, professionalism, and discretion when working on strategic and confidential initiatives with the founder.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, management, or related field; exposure to aerospace or deep-tech domains is an advantage.
- Prior experience in founder’s office, consulting, program management, or startup roles is a plus but not mandatory.
