Accountant

About the Role

The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and managing accounts payable and receivable. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Monitor budgets.
• Reconcile bank accounts.
• Support monthly and annual closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with project teams to track project costs and profitability.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with accounting software.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other basic office tools.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
• Ability to manage budgets, track project costs, and perform accurate reconciliations.
• Understanding of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and basic audit processes.
• Excellent numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in construction, interiors, or project-based industries is preferred but not mandatory.
